The Labour Court recommended a two-hour minimum call-out payment at the appropriate overtime rate in a pay and on-call dispute between Severn Trent Response and the Technical, Engineering and Electrical Union. The recommendation was signed on 1 December 2016. The Court confirmed that a pay adjustment made in July 2016 would apply for one year and recommended that the union accept that timeframe. It also recommended that the parties discuss Saturday overtime rates, taking account of established norms. The recommendation was made under the Industrial Relations Act 1969.
