The Labour Court recommended higher shift premiums at Io Systems Ltd following a dispute with the Cwu. Its recommendation was signed on 7 October 2016. The Court recommended a 25% premium for five-day and five-and-a-half-day shift patterns, and an increase in the current 13% premium to 18%, effective from 1 October 2016. It found no basis to disturb the outcomes of arbitration on weekend reimbursement and the flexible cover arrangement.
