The Labour Court recommended that Wellman International increase its pay offer to the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union from 3% to 3.5% over 24 months. The recommendation, signed on 27 May 2016, set increases of 1.5% from 1 January 2015, 1.5% from 1 January 2016 and 0.5% from 1 July 2016. The agreement was to expire on 31 December 2016.
