Labour Court rejects Kenneth Moore’s claim for 4% pay increase from Daa

The Labour Court rejected Kenneth Moore’s claim for a 4% pay increase under an earlier Labour Court recommendation. Moore, a Dublin-based graded employee, said he had left SIPTU, accepted the earlier recommendation and that colleagues in Cork had received the increase. Daa said no agreement applying the recommendation covered Moore’s grade at his location. The Court said the earlier recommendation would have effect only if the parties voluntarily converted it into an agreement. Daa confirmed that no such agreement applied to Moore’s grade and location. The recommendation was dated 14 April 2016.
