The Labour Court recommended that the Inmo co-operate with Brothers Of Charity Waterford’s proposal to fill a Senior Night Nurse vacancy at CNM1 rather than CNM2. The recommendation was signed on 8 April 2016. The union argued that the two rotating Senior Night Nurse positions should both be graded CNM2 because of their duties and management responsibilities. The employer proposed a CNM1 reporting to a CNM2, saying two CNM2s in the same role would not be effective. The Court found the proposal did not breach a collective agreement and recommended that the union co-operate with its implementation.
