The Labour Court recommended an ex-gratia payment to John Joseph Lundon of three weeks’ pay per year of service, on top of statutory redundancy already paid. The recommendation was signed on 16 March 2016. Tipperary Hostel Ltd said it had no funds to make the additional payment. The Court recommended that the parties jointly seek funding to pay it.
