The Labour Court did not recommend conceding the INMO’s claim for retrospection to 2008 or another intervening date for two surveillance nurses at St James Hospital. Its recommendation was signed on 20 January 2016. The nurses had been upgraded from CNM1 to CNM2 in 2015, and the Court noted that the post had been graded CNM2 from 1 April 2015 after an INMO claim submitted on 10 March 2015. The substantive dispute had therefore been resolved, but the Court did not recommend backdating the grading.
