The Labour Court recommended that American Airlines, Inc Trading As American Airlines pay an unnamed worker €2,000 in compensation over errors involving her salary, contracts, payments and deductions. It also recommended that the company not seek reimbursement of any further money owed. The worker said she accepted the role based on the original offer and considered a 35% pay reduction unacceptable. The company said a full-time contract had been sent in error and that it identified the mistake before she began work. The Court found that conflicting salary information and contracts, incorrect payments and later deductions caused confusion and ultimately led to the worker’s resignation. It recommended the €2,000 as full and final settlement of all claims. The recommendation was signed on 30 November 2015.
