The Labour Court recommended that DAA’s €6,000 gross payment and €150 tax-free voucher settle a union claim for recertification payments and increments. The recommendation was signed on 11 November 2015. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union argued that an earlier Labour Court recommendation covered the payments and that restructuring had cost workers earnings. DAA said that recommendation had been implemented and the certification payments did not apply to the group. The Court found DAA’s offer fair and reasonable and recommended that it be accepted in full and final settlement.
