The Labour Court recommended that Kellor Services Ireland Ltd withdraw disciplinary sanctions imposed on a worker after absences linked to emergency family care. The worker was represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union. The recommendation was signed on 9 November 2015. The Court found the company’s treatment of the worker was neither fair nor reasonable and should be reversed. It also recommended that the company meet with him to arrange support for recurring critical-care needs in his family. The company did not attend the hearing.
