The Labour Court recommended that Unite the Union and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union accept University College Dublin's proposals to relocate its Media Services facility. The recommendation was signed on 2 July 2015. The unions argued the new space was inadequate and unfit for purpose, and could prevent the team from working effectively. UCD said the move would bring the team closer to IT Services and that there were no plans to outsource its work.
