Labour Court does not recommend INMO claim for retrospective credit

The Labour Court did not recommend conceding the INMO’s claim for retrospective incremental credit for time spent in an acting-up role. The recommendation was signed on 27 April 2015. The INMO sought credit under a local agreement covering 2009 to 2014, saying its member had been treated inequitably. HSE South said she had received the appropriate credit and that the claim was barred as a cost-increasing claim under the Public Service Agreement 2010–2014. The Court found the member appropriately graded and noted that she was paid on the first point of the PHN scale on a long-standing personal-to-holder basis. The recommendation did not seek to disturb that arrangement.
