The Labour Court recommended that Element Six and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union return to conciliation over the company's introduction of a 24/7 shift system. The Court said the collective dispute was not suited to this referral route and urged a full effort to resolve it. The union said an agreed 24/5 system had been replaced unilaterally and that changes should be agreed. Element Six said flexibility was important to its sustainability and that 24/7 working had been a feature of the site since the 1990s. The recommendation was signed on 20 April 2015.
