Labour Court sends Element Six pay dispute back to conciliation

The Labour Court recommended that Element Six and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union return to conciliation over a dispute about pay increases. The Court said the collective issues were unsuitable for this referral route and urged both sides to make a genuine effort to resolve them. The union said the company had not engaged under agreed pay and dispute procedures. Element Six said workers' pay was above market benchmarks and further cost increases were unsustainable. The recommendation was signed on 20 April 2015.
