Labour Court rejects IFUT claim for University of Limerick AP3 scale

The Labour Court rejected IFUT’s claim on behalf of a worker at Mary Immaculate College Limerick for the University of Limerick AP3 pay scale, finding the worker was paid on the scale applicable at the college. The recommendation was signed on 25 March 2015. The union said the difference between the scales was €4,559. The Court found that the worker had been given details of the college’s salary scale when he accepted the post, with no indication that it was linked to the University of Limerick scale.
