The Labour Court recommended that Stobart (Ireland) Driver Services Ltd raise the basic hourly rate for the drivers covered by a Services Industrial Professional Technical Union claim to €13.50. It said the rate should be adjusted proportionally for night, weekend and public holiday work. The Court also recommended further discussions on a separate cost-of-living pay claim. It did not recommend a shift allowance, finding that the existing roster arrangements, together with the recommended pay increase, met that claim. The recommendation was signed on 23 January 2015.
