The Labour Court recommended that Io Systems and Communication Workers Union work through the Labour Relations Commission with financial experts for three weeks to achieve a structural reduction of €100,000 a year in the company’s costs. The recommendation was signed on 25 November 2014. The union accepted savings were needed but opposed the company’s proposed measures, saying the target could be met another way.
