The Labour Court recommended that the National Car Testing Service and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union accept an amended productivity scheme for vehicle inspectors. All staff should formally agree to cooperate with the scheme, with disputes referred to experts nominated by both sides. The Court recommended increasing the proposed payments to €2,000 and €500, each payable in two instalments in December 2014 and April 2015. The recommendation was signed on 3 November 2014.
