The Labour Court recommended that Unilever Ireland restore its working relationship with the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and engage on members' terms and conditions. SIPTU said three field sales team members were told they would be made redundant without consultation, and that management did not respond to requests for a meeting. The union also cited more than 30 years of collective bargaining. Unilever Ireland did not attend the hearing. The recommendation was signed on 13 August 2014.
