The Labour Court recommended that An Post introduce its online attendance-recording system and review it after six months. The recommendation was dated 13 August 2014. The Court said the system was normal ongoing change and that PSEU should cooperate under the existing agreement. PSEU sought a 2% pay increase, saying the system could add 30 to 45 minutes of clocking time each week. An Post said it needed a standardised system and could not concede the claim because it was loss-making. The Court did not recommend conceding the union’s pay claim.
