The Labour Court recommended that Fintrax Group recognise the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union for collective bargaining. The recommendation was signed on 21 June 2013. The union sought bargaining rights. Fintrax did not attend the hearing but sent correspondence saying it intended to continue negotiating directly with staff on employment terms. The Court recommended that outstanding issues be negotiated between the parties and, if negotiations failed, referred back to the Court.
