The Labour Court recommended that Dublin Airport Authority PLC keep six former Friskem Supervisors on their former pay scale after they moved to policing duties. The recommendation was signed on 5 March 2013. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union said the employees had been promised that their pay and scale would be retained. The company said red-circling preserved the difference between the two scales while employees progressed on the Airport Police scale.
