The Labour Court recommended that Limerick County Council apply the second long service increment to regraded Revenue Collectors and set a travel allowance buy-out at one-and-a-half times annual loss. The recommendation was signed on 28 November 2012. The Irish Municipal, Public and Civil Trade Union also sought access to the 1987 early retirement or voluntary redundancy scheme, which the Court did not recommend reopening because it had expired. The union had sought a buy-out at three times annual loss; the Court recommended the Council’s lower multiplier.
