The Labour Court recommended that I.B.L.S. amend its grievance procedure to include the right to refer a grievance to a third-party industrial relations institution. The recommendation was signed on 13 November 2012. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union said workers had lost access to the State's industrial relations machinery after the company changed its procedure. I.B.L.S. said its internal process met normal business standards and did not need an external referral provision.
