The Labour Court recommended that the Board of Management Scoil An Linbh Iosa appoint an agreed independent person to investigate an unnamed worker’s bullying complaints. The recommendation was signed on 8 October 2012. The Court was not convinced the Board’s investigation procedures met the criteria in the workplace bullying Code of Practice and found the Board was not best placed to conduct an impartial investigation. It recommended that the findings and any recommendations be shared with the parties for comment, with the process completed before 30 November 2012.
