The Labour Court did not recommend conceding a worker’s claim for expenses and a site allowance against Bord Gais Energy, following a dispute with the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union. The recommendation was signed on 28 May 2012. The Court said the payments had ceased in 2001 or 2002 and that the long lapse of time and uncertainty about the agreement made it unreasonable to pursue the claim.
