The Labour Court recommended that Women’s Aid process a worker’s outstanding workplace issues through its internal procedures, with help from her trade union, within three months. The recommendation was signed on 16 September 2011. The worker said two disciplinary proceedings were handled improperly, while Women’s Aid said it had followed its procedures and that she had not raised an internal grievance. The Court also recommended that the parties consider an agreed facilitator and establish the worker’s medical fitness for work.
