The Labour Court did not recommend conceding Building and Allied Trades Union’s claim that Gem Construction had breached an agreement to re-employ seven former bricklayers when work became available. The Court found the company had honoured the agreement for the workers covered by the 2007 redundancies and that those for whom work became available were re-employed. The recommendation was signed on 28 June 2011.
