The Labour Court suggested that HSE West / Aras Attracta, PNA and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union return to conciliation over pay and conditions linked to the 37.5-hour nursing week. The recommendation was signed on 19 May 2011. The unions sought adjusted pay rates and back pay, while management said the arrangement was intended to be cost neutral. The Court said the parties should seek agreed arrangements consistent with the national agreement.
