The Labour Court did not recommend conceding National Bus & Rail Union claims on behalf of a member over surveillance of a specialised unit and its disbandment at Iarnrod Eireann. The recommendation was signed on 10 September 2010. The Court said the surveillance matter had been resolved to the satisfaction of the majority involved at a meeting on 15 May 2009, while the disbandment matter had been resolved by a collective agreement between the company and the union. It saw no merit in the union’s claims and did not recommend their concession.
