The Labour Court recommended that the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union accept HSE Dublin Mid Leinster's proposals to change rosters at Tullamore Ambulance Station and staff an Emergency Dispatch Point in Edenderry. The HSE proposed moving four rostered positions from an 18-place Tullamore roster to provide the Edenderry service, while maintaining cover and employment terms. The union opposed the changes, citing existing service coverage and concerns about the dispatch point. The Court said it had seen no arguments that the proposals were unreasonable. It recommended implementation by 1 September 2010; the recommendation was signed on 21 July 2010.
