The Labour Court recommended that Brothers of Charity Services Roscommon apply the agreed standardised annual leave terms to affected staff for current and future leave years. The recommendation was signed on 27 May 2010. The Irish Municipal, Public and Civil Trade Union sought implementation of the 2001 agreement, which the employer said would be difficult without additional funding. The Court said the agreement was beyond dispute and long overdue, and recommended discussions about staff’s accrued entitlements since 2001.
