The Labour Court recommended that HSE Dublin / Mid Leinster - Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore complete its 2008 agreement with 100 Multi Task Attendants before the end of 2010. The recommendation was signed on 21 May 2010. The agreement covered a move to new hospital premises and promotional posts. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union said the agreement predated the public service recruitment and promotion moratorium and that the delay in advertising posts was not its fault. The HSE said the moratorium prevented implementation but that it remained committed to the agreement. The Court noted both sides remained committed and recommended full implementation, with the existing ad hoc arrangements continuing in the interim.
