The Labour Court recommended that Campbell Catering increase its redundancy offer to €7,500 for each of three catering supervisors at the Waterford Crystal site, from €2,700 per employee. The recommendation was signed on 15 April 2010. The Court recommended that Unite accept the improved offer in full and final settlement of its claim. Unite had sought six weeks’ pay per year of service, inclusive of statutory entitlement.
