Labour Court recommends Finsa redundancy package for craft workers

The Labour Court recommended that the voluntary redundancy package agreed by Finsa Forest Products with another union should apply on the same basis to craft workers represented by the Technical, Engineering and Electrical Union. The employer was represented by the Irish Business and Employers’ Confederation. The recommendation followed a dispute over proposed redundancies and the union’s request for terms matching an earlier package. It was signed on 9 October 2009.
