The Labour Court recommended that the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and the Irish Nurses Organisation’s claim against Brothers of Charity Services Limerick be conceded. The dispute concerned whether nurses’ annual leave continued to accrue during long-term sick leave. The Court noted that the nurses’ principal employment conditions were aligned with those of public-service nurses. The recommendation was signed on 15 June 2009.
