The Labour Court recommended that Patrick McCabe, trading as Transpeed, pay a worker €320 to settle outstanding claims. The recommendation was dated 25 February 2009. The worker said he was owed night duty pay and holiday pay, among other claims. He told the Court he had received his P45, two payslips and seven days’ pay, so those matters were no longer before it. The Court recommended €120 for four nights of night duty and €200 in holiday pay. It did not recommend notice pay or a written contract, citing the worker’s short service.
