The Labour Court recommended that the National Car Testing Service offer four extra days of leave to affected current workers at its Northpoint Centre, with A.G.E.M.O. Trade Group accepting the offer. The recommendation was signed on 10 February 2009. The union had sought payment for four minutes a day for 15 members, for work accumulated between May 2001 and June 2008. The Court said the recording arrangements at Northpoint appeared different from those at the company’s other centres and that the union’s complaint had some substance. The leave was to be allocated in the current leave year at a time set by management, in full and final settlement.
