The Labour Court recommended that St Hilda's Services give two care assistants five extra days of annual leave on a once-off basis. The recommendation was signed on 14 November 2008. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union said the assistants had enjoyed the benefit for many years and should be compensated for its loss. St Hilda's Services said the cleaning arrangement was temporary, ended in May 2006, and three of the five assistants accepted the change.
