The Labour Court did not recommend conceding a worker’s claim against Peamount Hospital for alleged unpaid salary increases. The recommendation was signed on 20 May 2008. The Irish Medical Organisation said the hospital had not honoured a 2000 agreement and had failed to address pay increases under a 2003 national agreement for public health doctors. Peamount Hospital said a May 2004 settlement had discharged the matters. The Court found the matters were covered by that settlement.
