The Labour Court recommended that TBC Limited T/A The Blu Bar pay a worker €2,500 after finding she was badly treated over reduced hours and her dismissal. The recommendation was signed on 24 April 2008. The worker said her hours fell from 19 a week to about 12 after Christmas 2006, and that she was dismissed without due process. The company said she worked flexible part-time hours and it could no longer sustain its staffing levels.
