The Labour Court recommended that Limerick County Council change its increment form to use “Satisfactory Performance” or “Unsatisfactory Performance” instead of “Comments”. It also recommended that the council facilitate requests for an appeal to a Senior Manager other than the Human Resources Manager. The Irish Municipal, Public And Civil Trade Union argued that the form duplicated other assessment procedures and sought a simpler process. The recommendation was signed on 28 January 2008.
