The Labour Court recommended that Trinity College Dublin increase basic annual leave to 24 days a year for its Chief Technicians and Senior Experimental Officers. The Irish Federation of University Teachers had sought 29 days. The recommendation was signed on 5 November 2007. The Court said the grades’ existing leave was out of line with comparable staff and that 24 days would reflect their grade and responsibilities. It limited the recommendation to those grades and their circumstances at the college.
