The Labour Court recommended that Bus Eireann reduce a worker’s final written warning to a severe warning lasting 12 months from the date the final warning was imposed. The recommendation was signed on 20 September 2007. The dispute followed complaints about the worker’s bus-driving duties and a parking incident at Paulstown School. The Court found procedural deficiencies in the original investigation, including the use of extraneous and prejudicial material when deciding the sanction. The worker was represented by O'Meara Geraghty McCourt.
