The Labour Court did not recommend concession of a claim for compensation by locomotive drivers operating to and from Docklands Station. The recommendation was signed on 13 August 2007. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and National Bus and Railworkers Union sought compensation, saying the station brought roster changes and additional responsibilities. Iarnrod Eireann argued that the changes were covered by the 2000 New Deal for Locomotive Drivers. The Court agreed that the claim fell within that agreement.
