The Labour Court recommended that Waterways Ireland place an Engineer on point seven of the salary scale from 13 January 2007, with appropriate retrospection to 3 October 2003, after verification of his previous earnings. The recommendation was signed on 16 April 2007.
The worker had sought two additional increments based on his qualifications. The Court said his qualifications and most recent salary before joining Waterways Ireland supported the increments.
