The Labour Court recommended that Beaumont Convalescent Home apply benchmarking increases for nurses and parallel benchmarking increases for other grades, with back pay for those increases and wage rises due under Sustaining Progress. The dispute with the Irish Nurses Organisation, the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and the Irish Municipal Public and Civil Trade Union concerned pay for McAuley House employees. The Court recommended that the stated links to HSE pay scales continue and that the parties agree a payment schedule, taking account of the Home’s capacity to pay. The recommendation was signed on 16 March 2007.
