The Labour Court recommended that Trux Transport Ltd increase its offer for two workers’ lost overtime to €1,200 for the driver and €1,000 for the driver’s helper, in full and final settlement. The recommendation was signed on 14 February 2007. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union said roster changes without agreement removed the workers from a route and reduced their overtime earnings between April 2005 and April 2006. The company cited business demands, the driver’s lack of an articulated-lorry licence and his refusal to make deliveries without a helper.
