The Labour Court recommended that a worker at the Queen of Peace Centre receive an additional two weeks' pay on an ex gratia basis, recognising distress after she was suspended during investigations. The recommendation was dated 5 October 2006. Garda and HSE investigations found no wrongdoing. The Sisters Of St. Paul De Chartres invited the worker to return, but she chose to wait for the DPP's conclusion and said the offered hours were unsuitable. The Court accepted that the employer acted properly in inviting her back, while also recognising the stress and anxiety she had suffered.
