Labour Court recommends job evaluation of St Catherine’s College president role

The Labour Court recommended that St Catherine’s College and the Irish Federation Of University Teachers arrange a job evaluation of the college president’s post and the principal’s post at the Church of Ireland College of Education, for the period covered by the claim. The union sought remuneration for the St Catherine’s president in line with the other college’s principal. The Court said the salary might be anomalous and recommended that the parties agree the evaluation’s terms and evaluator, and complete it within three months. The recommendation was signed on 2 October 2006.
